I’ve seen the reblogs, read the backstory & I agree that his actions were WAY out of line. You know what else is out of line? Reblogging a picture with personal information on it. While he obviously doesn’t understand the concept of being a humanitarian, don’t think that I didn’t notice that some of us suffer from the very same lack of understanding. Two wrongs will never make a right, any day in life. This is no exception.
Imagine if they had released his address instead. Would it be okay to go to his home, where his family lives, to take issue with his lack of proper judgement while at work? Don’t answer that; it was a rhetorical question. The point is, that there are other ways to go about it. The ‘soldier’ shouldn’t be attacked; the system that allows said ‘soldier’ to get away with the acts is who should be attacked…properly.
Bottom line, we all have to do better, especially Lieutenant Pike.
*late edit* In regards to the “personal information” - I’m not referring to his work email/work number; I saw one picture that supposedly had his cell number. That’s what I consider taking it too far.
